Safequip (Pty) Ltd, established in 2008 following the integration with Blue Crane Engineering, commenced operations as far back as 1986 in Cape Town under the banner of H.I. Lay Sales. Today we are considered as the leading SABS approved manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fire fighting equipment on the African continent. Our diverse product range offers a one-stop-shop, catering for all your requirements, demonstrating our commitment to service excellence, quality, and best price policy.
With headquarters in Cape Town and 4 national branches, we supply customers throughout the central and southern regions of Africa as well as the Indian Ocean Islands with a product range consisting of an assortment of fire fighting equipment including well known local brands such as Fire King, Firemate and Blue Crane. In addition we also offer training in first aid and basic fire awareness.
As an innovative and dynamic company, we provide state of the art fire fighting technology to multiple niche markets. Our recent acquisition of Cam-Quip adds mobile fire fighting units and a focussed veld fire division.
